Dr. Joy Musser, Ph.D. CCC-SLP

Dr. Joy Musser, Ph.D. CCC-SLP, the owner and operator of SLPtutor.com, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist by the state of New York and holds her national certificate with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She holds a doctoral degree from the University of Cincinnati and has over 20 years of clinical experience.

Along with providing individualized SLP/CSD tutoring through SLP Tutor, Dr. Joy also works with clients of MusserVoice.com on gender affirming voice training and related voice goals, while also teaching online undergraduate/graduate courses in communication sciences and disorders. This combined clinical and teaching experience allows her to bring real-world, specialty expertise into every tutoring session.

Praxis Exam Tutoring Speech-Language Pathology (5331)
Dr. Joy provides targeted Praxis support with a systematic approach, customized study plans, and focused content review. She also coaches test-taking strategies and mindset so students walk into the exam fully prepared with confidence.
CSD Course Tutoring
She helps undergraduate and graduate SLP/CSD students break down complex coursework like anatomy & physiology of the speech mechanism, neurology, and cleft palate and craniofacial anomalies. Sessions focus on clarifying concepts, organizing material, and preparing for exams and major assignments.
